Avatar: The Last Airbender, is a new animated serie that has a lot a fame in Nickelodeon. You can also know it under the name of: Avatar: The Legend of Aang.
This is the history of a young airbender named Aang, who is the reincarnation of the Avatar, a person who has the hability of master the four basic elements of the world: Earth, Air, Water and Fire; besides, he is destinated to take to all the nations the balance.
Aang ran away with his flying bisont, Appa, from the Air Temple where he was at the age of 12, but a storm caugth them and they finished sinking in the ocean, and using his power in an avatar state he could get frozen with Appa, his bisont.
Mean while the Avatar wasn't on the earth, the Fire Nation was getting more and more power and they became ambitious, wishing dominate the whole world, destroying the other nations. For this reason, the world was in a constant state of war.
Aang was find by 2 childrens whom belong to the Water Tribe in the North Pole, and they rescued him. This young people are Katara (apprentice of water bending) and Sokka (a warrior apprentice), they are brother and sister; and with Aang all of them are going to have and amazing adventure.
The core of this history is about Aang trying to learn to master the 4 elements, so he can be strong enought to face the Fire Nation, but all the people from that nation are looking for the Avatar because they want to impede him to get his goal. Specially the Prince Suko, who has been exiled by his own father, and only the capture of the Avatar will give him his honor again; besides he has the help of his uncle Iroh.
The Avatar Aang must confront several obstacles and face the sad true, that he is the last Airbender in the earth. Aang, next to Sokka and Katara will look for masters whom can guide and help them in their way. Every one will live dangerous situations, a lot of action, adventures, romance and always fun.
